Refund policy
Plain language, no surprises. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return for any reason. For eligible U.S. returns, return shipping is on us.
The return window
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to start a return. After 30 days, we can no longer accept the item.
Free return shipping
For eligible U.S. returns started within the 30-day window, Warm by Design pays for return shipping.
If your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will also cover the cost of the replacement or resolution.
Condition we can accept
Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging, with all included accessories, such as bulbs, cords, instructions, and any kit gifts that must be returned under the kit policy below.
Lamps that show installation, wear, damage after delivery, or use cannot be refunded.
How to start a return
Begin a return at warmbydesign.com/pages/returns. The return flow takes about a minute. You’ll need your order number and the email used at checkout.
If something is wrong with the form, email support@warmbydesign.com and we’ll handle it manually.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank processing time is separate and may take additional time.
You’ll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.
Damaged, defective, or wrong item
Email support@warmbydesign.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
We’ll make it right at no cost to you. Depending on the situation, we may send a replacement, provide a return label, or let you know that no return is needed.
Exchanges
We don’t run a separate exchange process. To switch a lamp for a different one, return the original for a refund and place a new order. This is faster and cleaner than a swap.
Final-sale items
Nothing is final sale at this time. Every item we ship is returnable under the terms above.
Kits — partial returns
Kits may qualify for free accessories or gifts at certain thresholds. If you return enough lamps that your remaining order no longer qualifies for a kit tier:
- Accessories from the lost tier must be returned with the lamp(s), or
- The retail value of those accessories will be deducted from the refund.
If your remaining order still qualifies for the original tier after the partial return, the accessories are yours to keep.
