Why only warm 2700K light?+
We keep every visible lamp layer at 2700K so the room feels consistent: warm, soft, and not blue-white or orange.
How many lamps do I need to light a living room without overhead lighting?+
Most living rooms need 2 to 4 warm lamps: one floor lamp for height, one table lamp near the main seat, one accent for the dark corner. Two warm lamps at different heights already replace a single overhead source.
Do warm lamps work in a rental?+
Yes. Every Warm by Design lamp is plug-in: no rewiring, no installation, no electrician. If your overhead is harsh, swap the bulb for a warm one (a spare 2700K bulb is included with 2+ lamp orders) or just turn it off.
How long does shipping take?+
3–4 weeks with tracking. Single-lamp orders ship for $12.95. Two or more lamps ship free — any combination.
What's your return policy?+
30-day returns on eligible lamp orders. If a room doesn't feel right, start a return within 30 days of delivery; we handle the label.
Is 2700K too warm for a living room?+
No. 2700K is a warm living-room standard after dark: softer than cool-white overhead bulbs, but well above amber-only. Pair lamps at different heights and the room reads warm, not yellow.
